The weather today in fuel...

Looks pretty damn amazing. Codemasters have released a weather gameplay video for their upcoming open world racer, Fuel as well as some new screenshots. They show us how lightning, rain, snow and tornadoes will look in the game and how they could impact on how you play the game. Look pretty good to me so far and so do all of the previous Fuel videos we have seen. This could be a damn good racing game and let us hope that Codemasters deliver on this one just as much as they did with Grid.

You can view the video below and the game is coming out on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on 15th May 2009.

You can also view the video here in case it does not show along with the new screenshots released by Codemasters.

You be the Don:

According to the new video which has been released by EA for The Godfather 2 you can be the Don and you choose how you want to play the game. This shows you a little more about how the game will work without having to read any text on their website. Looks pretty interesting and the explosions somehow look awesome compared to the rest of the game graphics. Mind you looks like this is getting to be a game which we may not want to miss after all...

Also just wanted to add as to how ironic it was that M_the_C commented on the post yesterday about The Godfather 2 and today they released another trailer. Brilliant timing or what!

You can also view the video here in case it does not show.
Tonight it is a short post but you can blame that on Blood Diamond being pretty good and so long. A damn good film but it is late however hopefully I shall do a small article for you all to enjoy on Friday as I have the day off!

Fuel, hmmm. I liked the tornado, especially the lorry hurtling towards you, it's probably a map rather than natural event but it still cool. Was it me or did the lightening stay on screen too long? I liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R. s lightening, on screen for a split second. I'm still not sure about the tracks, but some of it looked pretty freeform.

As for the Godfather, that does look interesting. Kind of, strategy, but with some close up control. I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Thanks.

Also, how do you like that rating, Contains:
Blood
Drug Reference
Intense Violence
Nudity
Sexual themes
Strong Language

It's really trying to fit everything in.

Oh yes it looks pretty amazing the tornadoes. The lightning looks a little too fake which is a bit dissapointing but could still be impressive when in the game either way. Oh I can assure you apparently this weather system will affect the way you race. That lorry was bought on by the wind, were you to do it at another time it would probably hurl something different and in a different direction or so they say.

Yeah no problemo on that front. I might pick up a copy and with Mafia 2 delayed till 4th quarter I have even more reason to do so now.

Wow that is a hell of a lot of stuff in that rating. Also what do they class as nudity? Haha.

Sounds brutal but it'll be interesting to see how it performs upon release.

Also what do they class as nudity?I had written what I thought it might be, but then decided to check out the ESRB site and it explains all. http://www.esrb.org/ratings/synopsis.jsp?Certificate=26106
Bare upper, but not lower and suggestive talk. Nothing terrible.

About Fuel, it just seemed like the tornado was too complex to have been a totally random occurrence. It might send different objects or not appear at all but I can't quite see how they could make it totally random, on every map. I might be wrong though and if so...

Ahh cool nice one for clarifying it haha!

Yeah not sure to be honest how it will all work out. Not much has really been said on the game apart from how it will be an open world racer with um lots of space.
